Thanks a lot for the feedback When I th this project, I had zero knowledge of ray tracing and I found “From the Ground Up” frok mis-leading title for the book because it starts with a pretty complicated pre-made OOP heavy framework with a basic UI etc which while nice, isn’t ideal if you want to learn the basic principles of the ray tracing technique. If you’re interested in real time graphics consider picking up the third edition of Real Time Rendering.

The informative illustrations alone make the book worth purchasing by anyone planning on teaching or understanding more about the essentials of ray tracing. It assumes the reader has just about no knowledge of graphics and at most some understanding of calculus.
