Sunny Black has spent her entire life tending to the needs of others, caring for her younger brother since she was ten, and serving bar patrons night after night. Characters with depth plus an intriguing storyline are what make this story a really great read, one that you’ll alannab up recommending to your friends and one you’ll probably want to read again.

Saddled with having to care for her brother – they both put everything they could into the bar that became their home and their livelihood.

I love this series. Over the past year or so, many of the choices Max has made to further the business hasn’t set well with Gavin. He’s been groomed to take over the business, a reason for his boss to push his cxll on him, but Gavin’s feeling disillusioned and Sunny represents the change he craves for. Now he is torn between work and his growing attraction and fascination to Sunny. If it were the right business for him, then wouldn’t he be ok with Max’s choices? What a unfulfilled life, but who am Alanna to cast stones? She’s strong, caring, has a naughty side, a sunny personality, and she truly cares about those she comes across.
